1. Wayfinding Signage
Provide useful information on the place where the users are, such as free wifi, opening hours, etc. As the name indicates, these direct users with arrows saying which way to go for whichever purpose. These most often at junctions when the user must make a decision about the route. To help users recognise where they currently are, identification signs can be placed at the entrances of buildings, parks, etc. They symbolise the arrival to a destination. To let people know what they can and cannot do in a given area and are most frequently phrased negatively with the aim of creating a safe environment.

2. Catalog
Christian Rex van Minnen is a contemporary young American artist who’s work is influenced by the Dutch Golden Age of painting, distorting reality in a grotesque and exceptional way which turns the ugly into beautiful by working in the traditional technic of oil painting.
My catalog’s ulterior motive is to pass criticism on Israel’s battle over the education for democracy which has been sparked
by the imposition of a new citizenship book into the
education system.
The introduction to the catalog focuses on articles comparing popular culture to folklore. The second part deals with contemporary social effects on the design world side by side with presenting a selection of artist from earlier classical artists to radical artists today. The main body of the catalog concentrates on Christian Rex van Minnen world view and art, presenting his declaration of autonomy from traditional art whilst using it’s tools.

3. Zine
This fanzine is the result of a three-week study of the artist Anton Abramov. Abramov is a multidisciplinary artist who works primarily with metal and iron. During the time I spent with him, I followed the artist during his preparations for a performance that was held in the Tel Aviv’s Bialik Center.
I found myself identifying with Anton’s artistic opinions.
My expression of ambivalent emotions around the conflicts of interest between Art and Design and between Academic and Political concerns, found it’s way into my layout and typography.
